Best ORAL and POSTER presentations

 

On the last day of CIBIA 2019 conference, the best ORAL and POSTER presentation prizes were awarded to:

 

Poster:

1st prize -#45- Camila González-Arango, Elly V. Acosta, Diego Muñoz, Jonathan Rúa and Juan Camilo Mazo. Modelo de base fenomenológica para la predicción de los cambios estructurales durante el conchado del chocolate.

 

2nd prize -#26- Meliza Rojas, Isabela Silveira and Pedro Augusto. Ultrasound and ethanol pre-treatments to improve drying and rehydration of pumpkin.

 

Oral:

1st prize – #227- Santiago García Pinilla , Alamilla Beltrán L., Dorantes Álvarez L., García Armenta E., Hernández Sánchez H. and Gutiérrez-López,G. F. Morphometric properties of popcorn geometries.

 

2nd prize -#312- Gisele Silva, De Queiroz Y. C., Cristianini M. AND Steel C. J. Pasting properties of gluten-free flour mix treated with high isostatic pressure

 

 


Two juries, the Oral Presentation Competition Jury and the Poster Presentation Competition Jury, both composed of 10 invited members from the CIBIA XII Scientific Committee will evaluate all oral communications and posters, respectively.

 

For both competitions, 2 prizes will be awarded:

 

1st Prize – A gift voucher from TAP Air Portugal and refunding of your CIBIA Fee

2nd Prize – A gift voucher from TAP Air Portugal

 

 

Best Oral Presentation

Collaborative oral presentations are acceptable, but only one, the presenter (must be a student) can compete. The following requirements must be fulfilled:

– The presenter must be a student from a university or polytechnic institution.

– The presenter must follow the CIBIA Guidelines for oral presentation (see it HERE).

 

Selection criteria

The Jury will evaluate the following criteria:

– Relevance of the research work to the conference topics

– Excellence of research

– Innovation

– Organization of the presentation

– Quality of slides

 

 

Best Poster Presentation

Collaborative poster presentations are acceptable, but only one, the presenter (must be a student) can compete. The following requirements must be fulfilled:

– The presenter must be a student from a university or polytechnic institution.

– The presenter must be near the poster during the whole session.

– The poster must follow the CIBIA Guidelines for poster presentation (see it HERE).

 

Selection criteria

The Jury will evaluate the following criteria:

– Relevance of the research work to the conference topics

– Excellence of research

– Innovation

– Organization of the presentation

– Quality of illustrations

– Quality of writing
